Dave Hinze
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our partner, David C. Hinze. Dave died of an apparent heart attack on August 18th. He was 58. We know that many of you may wish to remember Dave’s memory in a special way. Please check this web site in a couple of weeks. Once we have had time to absorb the initial shock of Dave’s passing, we will post an appropriate suggestion for you to consider which will recognize Dave’s contribution to the field of history, preservation and education. May he rest in peace.

Dave Hinze is a veteran tour guide of 16 years. He has worked for:
- Numerous civil War Roundtables
- CWEA from Winchester, VA
- American History Forum
- The Civil War Preservation Trust and
- Many additional organizations looking for a great event and the right company to make the trip a memorable success
He has led tours covering topics from the French and Indian War through the presidency of Harry Truman for various groups across the country. He is an expert in:
- Interpreting the history
- Keeping on schedule
- Arranging food, lodging and transportation for your group
Dave can customize your even to meet your needs and focus on the history your group desires to learn more about. He can also handle smaller groups who desire private tours of the battlefield. If your group wants to handle all the logistics, Dave Hinze can make recommendations or just interpret the historical aspect of the event.
